Campus Safety Week: September 21–24!

Illinois Tech will host Campus Safety Week this September, and it will feature workshops, a resource fair, and opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to learn more about campus safety and emergency preparedness.

Explore the safety resources available at Illinois Tech and build practical skills to help you feel more confident and prepared before an emergency happens.

  • Stop the Bleed Workshop
    Monday, September 21, 12:45–1:45 p.m. 
    MTCC Auditorium
    Learn basic lifesaving skills for responding to severe bleeding. This hands-on workshop will teach you how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and provide immediate care while waiting for emergency responders.
  • Campus Safety Basics 
    Tuesday, September 22, 12:45–1:45 p.m. 
    MTCC Auditorium
    Learn who to contact in an emergency, what safety resources are available on campus, how to receive important alerts, and the simple steps you can take to stay informed and prepared.
  • Campus Safety Resource Fairs
    Thursday, September 24, Noon–3 p.m. 
    MTCC Bridge
    Connect with Illinois Tech Public Safety, the Student Health and Wellness Center, the Title IX team, the Environmental Health and Safety team, and more! You can learn about the resources, services, and support available to the Illinois Tech community.
